GMAT Question of the Day
If a* = (2a + 6)/4, and a = 3b + 1, then a* equals
A)0.5b + 1.5
B)1.5b + 2
C)1.5b - 2
D)6b + 7
E)b - 1/3
a*= (6b +2+6)/4 = (6b+8)/4
hence the answer is option B
