If x^4 = 2y^2 and 4y = 8, what is the value of x^4 + 2y?
A)8
B)10
C)12
D)14
x^4+2y is the given expression.
Since x^4 is equal to 2y the expression becomes 2y +2y = 4y =8 .
So the answer is option A
